Using this site and these builds
ModHider 26.2 for Fabric and the classic Fabric 1.21.11 build are provided free of charge for personal use. Downloading either one means you accept the terms on this page. If you do not, do not download them.
What ModHider is for
ModHider is a privacy tool. It exists on the principle that the software installed on your own computer is your business, and that a game server does not need an inventory of it in order to let you play. That is the same position the earlier ModHider projects took, and it is the only position this one claims.
It is not marketed, sold or intended as a way to cheat, to defeat anti-cheat, or to evade a ban. If you use it that way, that is your decision and your risk.
What it does not do
ModHider hides your mod list, not your behaviour. It edits the packets that describe your client. It does not change what any mod actually does. Anti-cheat systems that infer a mod from reach, aim, timing or movement are looking at something ModHider never touches, and a clean handshake will not help you there.
It also does not hide the loader itself, on purpose. A client that appears to have no loader while still speaking the loader's protocol is more conspicuous than a full mod list.
Server rules are still server rules
Every server you join has its own rules, and some of them require you to declare your mods. Running ModHider 26.2 for Fabric does not exempt you from those rules and does not shield you from the consequences of breaking them. Punishment decisions belong entirely to the server operator, and we have no involvement in and no ability to influence them.
No warranty
Both builds are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You run them at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss of account access, world data, game progress or anything else arising from their use.
Trademarks
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, FabricMC or any server network. Mod names shown in the handshake preview belong to their own authors and appear as realistic examples only.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the builds after a change means you accept it.
